For over 10 years, dogs have been a huge and much-loved part of my life. What began as a simple dream, to create a place where dogs can be happy, active and completely themselves, has grown into what is now Happy Hounds Ranch.
From the very beginning, I have believed that every dog deserves to be treated as an individual and given the care, attention and enrichment they need to thrive. Whether they are heading out on an exciting walk, exploring new surroundings or spending time at the Ranch, my aim is always to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, stimulated and, most importantly, happy.
Happy Hounds Ranch was created with a simple philosophy: dogs deserve more than just a service — they deserve an experience. Every walk, adventure and interaction is an opportunity for dogs to exercise, explore, socialise and enjoy themselves in a caring and safe environment.
With over a decade of personal experience caring for dogs, I have built Happy Hounds Ranch around the things I believe matter most: trust, safety, enrichment and plenty of fun. Because when your dog is happy, cared for and having the time of their life, you can have complete peace of mind knowing they are in safe hands.

We take the time to understand each dog as an individual, adapting our care to their personality, routine and needs.
Our approach is calm, attentive and consistent. Whether your dog is joining us for a walk or spending time at Happy Hounds Ranch, we want them to feel safe, comfortable and completely at ease. From exciting walks and new adventures to relaxed downtime and plenty of fuss, every part of their day is designed with their wellbeing in mind.

Our walks are about so much more than simply getting from A to B. We want every walk to be an opportunity for dogs to explore, sniff, socialise and experience something new. Our walks are approximately an hour long and are designed to provide plenty of physical exercise and mental stimulation, helping dogs return home happy, fulfilled and ready for a well-earned rest.
For our more sociable pups, we offer small group walks of up to four dogs, giving them the opportunity to make friends and enjoy their adventure together. For dogs who are more nervous, independent or simply prefer their own company, we also offer individual walks, allowing us to give them the patience, attention and pace they need to feel comfortable and confident.
And to make things as easy as possible for you, we can pick your dog up from home and drop them safely back afterwards — so all you need to do is enjoy the sight of a happy, tired hound at the end of their adventure.
A Day full of fun, enrichment and care:
Daycare at Happy Hounds Ranch is designed to give your dog a fun, stimulating and fulfilling day while you get on with yours. From the moment they arrive, they’ll have plenty to keep their tails wagging - from toys, treats and attention to a daily adventure outside.
Our dogs have access to a secure, enclosed area of the Ranch, giving them the freedom to run, play and explore safely, alongside a daily walk to provide even more exercise, fresh air and enrichment. For those moments when they need to recharge, we also have quiet, comfortable spaces where they can relax and enjoy some well-earned downtime.
We know that a happy dog needs more than exercise, which is why we take care of the little things too. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can all be provided where required, with plenty of treats and fresh water throughout the day.

When it’s time for bed, your dog has their own safe, warm and comfortable sleeping area, providing a calm and secure environment for a good night's rest before another day of fun. We aim to maintain a familiar and reassuring routine throughout their stay, giving them the balance of adventure, companionship and downtime they need.
Whether they’re staying for a few nights or a few weeks, our goal is simple: for your dog to feel safe, settled and genuinely at home while you’re away.
